FOR ONE MONTH - 700 PALILULA MUNICIPAL INHABITANTS EXAMINED IN `COMING CLOSER TO THE PATIENTS`ACTION

Spring Health Action in the scope of "coming close to the patients," on the territory of Palilula was completed on Sunday, April 19, with medical team of the Health Center in the village of Suvi Do. In this resort, which has more than a thousand residents, 68 locals were examined. Locals of Suvi Do took advantage of the opportunity to measure the pressure in the area of village school, to determine the level of blood sugar, consult a doctor about therapy, said Ivica Stojanovic, a member of the Municipal Council of Palilula. One number of patients, with problems in walking and moving, were examined at home.

Team of the Department of Adult Health Care Service and Service KLIMN of Health Centre Nis, in the cooperation with Palilula Municipality, during the activity "Coming close to the patients" during March and early April, increased the activity of health checks covering the population of the twelve villages of Palilula. According to the president of Palilula Boban Džunić, the initial activity pointed to the need for additional inclusion of mobile medical teams of Health Center, in order to check the health of the inhabitants successfully because in these settlements there are no health service facilities. It is made extended dynamic of examinations and visits of the patients in homes, which took place in Palilula rural areas on weekdays and Sundays. Especially were analyzed old, less mobile or immobile patients.

Health Centre Nis in cooperation with Palilula Municipality, started the promotional medical activity "Coming close to the patients," on March 1, in the villages of Pasi Poljana and Bubanj. According to the assessment of the citizens, this was the right action of the management of Palilula Municipality and Health Center in Nis in the field of citizens health.
